Simple assembly and installation for Finn's let holder πŸ‘Œ

Start by sorting the kit parts and separating the ones needed to assemble all 4 sliders πŸ‘Œ

Each slider is composed of 3 parts:

  • slider
  • 8mm M3 screw
  • square nut
  • the square nut alignment tool (SNAT)

Insert the square nut in the square nut alignment tool (SNAT).

Place the SNAT in the slider in front of the square opening.
This ensures the square nut stays in the correct position.

Use your trusty Allen key to screw the 8mm M3 screw in place.

Tighten the screw

Once the screw reaches the edge keep screwing lightly.
This will screw the nut into it's spot while maintaining it in the correct position.

When it gets harder the nut should be in position; remove the SNAT.
Keep in safe spot as you'll need it for the remaining sliders :)

Now that the square nut is in place, unscrew the bolt to have it flush with the inside of the slider so that you can slide it on the rail later πŸ‘Œ

Next step is to assemble the arms linking the slider to the LED panel holder πŸ‘Œ

For this you'll need:

  • 2x arms per slider
  • 12mm M3 screw
  • square nut

Start by screwing the screw in the same side as the other screw.

Once the screw reaches the 1st hole; insert the arm with the cutout facing inside.

And keep screwing until hole #2.

Insert the square nut at the end and tighten lightly.
You can adjust later when placing the LED panels.

Next step is to assemble the LED holder onto the arms previously setup.

For this you will need:

  • LED holder
  • 8mm M3 screw
  • square nut

Place the square nut in 1 arm and start screwing from the other side.

Once the screw is flush inside, insert the LED holder and screw on :)

Adjust the grip of the rotation by tightening the screw.

In this step you'll be securing the LED panels onto the holders.
For this task you'll need:

  • 2x 3mm M3 screws per panel

Depending on your space you can either mount the panel horizontally or vertically using the standard VESA mounting holes on the back πŸ‘Œ

For this you'll need:

Like matching puzzle pieces, slide the rail inserts to make 2 rails composed of 3 rails each πŸ‘Œ
or do as you please if your setup is different :)

Before you glue it in place, please keep in mind that the holders are not centered on the panel.

That means you need to glue the rail slightly off-centered.
Β 

Let's first put the holder on the rail, without the double tape first, to see how the panel will be placed relative to the rail.

Once you've found the right spot to have your panel centered, you can put the double tape on the rail, and glue it in place.

Now that the rail is placed, slide the holders in place.

Same as previous one, make sure the panel is centered when you place it, so having a holder on the rail while placing it could help.
